NAIT – Islamic Centers & Schools
Fund
NAIT has established the “North American Islamic Trust—Islamic
Centers & Schools Fund” at JP Morgan-Chase Bank, N.A., to assist Islamic
centers and schools deal with emergencies and disasters that impact their
infrastructure.
Out of necessity and compassion, the
innumerable national and local Muslim and non-Muslim institutions and relief
organizations focus on restoring individuals' lives, property and honor. NAIT
applauds the efforts of these organizations and individuals. Restoring the
infrastructure of the masajid, youth centers and schools takes a back-seat. However,
restoring Islamic centers and schools is critical to the emotional and
spiritual well-being of the affected individuals, families and communities.
NAIT aims to work in concert with other Muslim institutions,
relief organizations and the private sector, to assist the affected Islamic
centers and schools in restoring their infrastructure.
NAIT holds titles to approximately 300 properties of Islamic
centers and schools throughout the United States.
