The Islamic Society of North America (ISNA)
The Muslim Students Association of U.S. and Canada (MSA),
the predecessor of the Islamic Society of North
America (ISNA) established The
North American Islamic Trust (NAIT)
in 1973 in Indiana.
NAIT supports and provides services to ISNA, MSA, their affiliates, and other Islamic
centers and institutions. The President of ISNA is an ex-officio member of the
Board of Trustees of NAIT. The Chairman of NAIT is a member of the ISNA Majlis
Ash-Shura (board of directors).
ISNA Vision
To be an exemplary and unifying Islamic organization in North
America that contributes to the betterment of the Muslim community
and society at large.
ISNA Mission
ISNA is an association of Muslim organizations and individuals that provides
a common platform for presenting Islam, supporting Muslim communities,
developing educational, social and outreach programs and fostering good
relations with other religious communities, and civic and service
organizations.
